Can't wait to see what WCMH's new URL will be.

WeAreBrutusStrong DOT com?

ScarletAndGrayMatters DOT com?

CaringAboutThe614 DOT com?

The sad thing is that they're only slightly less stupid than WSYX's actual website address:

And Nexstar & MG are still waiting for the FCC greenlight. Here's a write-up from the B&C yesterday (12/20).

At this rate, they might as well wait until after the auction is over. Nexstar had deals that lasted longer than this. The ComCorp deal lasted 20 months. So they can wait.

Watch them shimmy around and make a way to "lease" or otherwise run these stations without "technically" holding the licenses, until the deal gets settled one way or the other. That will happen before January 20th, my prediction.

Contrary to what a lot of the media keeps repeating in their echo chamber, the incoming administration isn't the biggest fan of concentrated media and the taking away of market voices/perspective. Could be a very rough time for SOME of the media companies, over the coming months, than is being let on.

Well heck yes...

The incoming prez has shown that he really doesn't need the media to get his message out to the public.

Trump payed the media like a fiddle...and thus the cash poor media has become irreverent in the eyes of many.

Are the TV ownership rules really a giant priority for the incoming admin in say the first 200 days?

Exactly....well said eat.... there is bound to be some turbulent and choppy waters ahead for the media... Some folks can't seem to read between the lines. There's a reason why Sin***** is trying to cuddle and cozy up. I have a feeling it'll work for some, but not some great for other players. All in all, it may not be a fair process. haaaa

Unless you are a company unapologetically friendly to Trump... (**cough cough** S!nclair **cough cough** Fox **cough cough**)

And this article I just read from says it all.........

My days of not taking Sinclair's political coverage seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

To be fair, as bad as we rip on Nexstar, they're never this blatant about it.

Sinclair has been straight down the middle in its coverage here in Maine. Lots of anti-Trump stories both before and after the election. If the Trump campaign thought they were going to get a pass by agreeing to sit down with a local Sinclair reporter during Trump's visit to Portland, they thought wrong. Once again a statement by the Trump campaign (Kushner in this case) overstates the case, creating an impression that is not borne out by reality. By all accounts, the Clinton campaign was offered the same deal but turned them down flat. It had no appreciable effect on coverage, as Clinton limited her press availability across the board.

Political bias aside, they have an agenda. They clearly put their ”partners” front and center and make their stations run their content without question. At least now after the FCC scandal with the Huntsman Cancer institute, they are trying to CTA with an endless barrage of disclosures, disclaimers, and ”sponsored by"s...

It's pretty laughable to even see the painfully obvious money grabs like ticker and snipe logos accompanied by said disclosures.

It just goes to show how much of a "front office special” this company goes through. All the times they have forgot to do so makes the RKO General scandal look like an overdrafted check...The FCC needs to throw the book at them and make them bleed.

Actually, not even Fox was friendly to trump until a couple of months ago (in fact, aside from their coverage of trumps crass comments, Fox's unfair and unbalanced bias against trump, combined with roger ailes being one of two creepy old men, are the reasons why I now outright refuse to trust Fox News anymore). Sinclair on the other hand is unapologetically supportive of trump. Also, thank you so much John Oliver for ruining the chance that Gary Johnson and Jill Stein had for presidency! Not really, in fact quite the opposite.

I knew they had some kind of agenda, and I think it includes politics. What would make it even worse is if their agenda involves having a criminal empire with crimes including, but sure as hell not limited to: drug dealing, bank robbery, rape, homicides, etc.
