WBFF New Graphics, possible new Sinclair Graphics?

Yeah, the slogan's kind of clunky. One other thing, they included the date in the open. Including the current date in pre-open newscast teasers was unfortunately something that went out in the late 1990s; KTRK's graphics packages in the 1980s are the only instances I can think of in which the date was included in the main opening sequence.

That aside. It all looks so good, you forget the corporate overlords that own them. (Mission statement notwithstanding)

I'm not only impressed with the new graphics but the new studio! Very blue, wow.

Now they have to get rid of that storm watch graphic...

Here’s a montage of the new graphics and most of the set.

So the animated American flag isn't totally gone, it's just now faded behind the logo bug.

The graphics look like something that the Tribune graphics team started for WBFF before the merger deal went sour...

I feel like Hothaus made these graphics, judging by how these are animated.

(Yes, I know it’s unbelievable)

WEAR has overhauled their weather graphics to the new ones like WBFF's package, although they still are with the 16x9 variant of the original "Curves" package.

Here's a sample from their radar:

Have there been any other Sinclair stations to take the plunge? Usually the WX computers are before and separate of the rest of the graphics, due to their specialized purpose....

Just to bump this. WJLA started to use the new graphics for mainly weather and promos in the past couple of weeks.

I just saw that a few min ago posted on their fb. I actually like it much better than the previous wx graphics.

Glad it looks like this package is going to be spread throughout most of the group. It looks nice.

Well, WHP has not gotten these new gfx yet ... and probably never well.  They dind’t get the new website template yet!!!

I feel WHP is the ugly Glendive step-child Of Sinclair.

Neither will WRLH. They still got Gari's Daily News music package, those ancient Sinclair graphics (weather segments still have the WWBT graphics) and that late-2000's news set that should've been gone a long time ago.

WJLA has launched - not sure when today, but the new look is live on the 4p show.

They clearly have some bugs to sort out but the animations are a big improvement over the previous look.
