TheRolyPoly 3510 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 An IMPORTANT update regarding WSVN 7. WSVN has started the groundbreaking on their new building in Miramar. Its scheduled to open in 2027 and my friend Craig Stevens has shared photos on LinkedIn on its ceremony including... its new future set once it moves in. That new set... wow. The Newsplex is going to impress once again. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/craig-stevens-88067a6_wsvn-fox-abcmiami-activity-7402750480382111744-cVwz?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&rcm=ACoAABqGw-0BrOQ_9csrv95OAtvM37gqLkE_dSc 3

nathannah 2792 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 Never thought I'd appreciate it, but thank you Sunbeam for remaining stubborn to the open newsroom Newsplex when every news set these days is bereft of life but has plenty of screens.

Even more rare to see the 7 logo placed beside the FOX logo. The new newsplex renderings are eeh. Doesn't seem as grand as the original 90s plex. Hopefully he lighting is smoother in this one. ScottSchell 423 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 (edited) Well KTUL has a meteorologist that will be handling the weekday evenings and that is Kirsten Lang (formerly at KJRH years ago). She returned to Tulsa TV this evening at 5pm, so it will be her and Joie handling weather for Tulsa while OKC’s team will continue to help when either of them need off and OKC will still handle weekend shows (which is still stupid). One thing to note she wasn’t hired as the Chief Meteorologist that position is still being considered so there might be a chance she will end up as KTUL’s chief and would be the second female to be named the Chief at KTUL. I added her first full wx hit from the 5pm show. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Fza29sd8r/?mibextid=wwXIfr Edited December 10, 2025 by ScottSchell 1
