MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 958 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Per Meteorologist Candace Monacelli WXMI is on a temporary set.. I've asked several on-air staffers about an approximate completion date but no response yet.. https://www.instagram.com/p/CwpkXOoL5z5/ 1
ScottSchell 372 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 The set makes its debut tomorrow morning. 1

MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 958 Posted September 25, 2023 Author Posted September 25, 2023 This is a HUGE improvement for WXMI -- and for a Scripps station in general. 4
WRNK 34 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Dang, that looks really nice! Was that done by BDI? 1

Action Newsroom 1313 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Set is slick, smooth and superb. I really like it. Great job, all involved.
Bsean 163 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) I hope KGTV is close to the front of the line for a new set. If they could at least do something about that black curtain that's to the left of the 3x3 array Edited September 25, 2023 by Bsean 2
mouseboy33 110 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) The set looks fantastic. Its the drab lighting plan that really lets it down and make the talent look flat. And the cold temperature/colour makes skin tones and wood tones look dead. I think this set would look great if they re-lit it. Its really goes to show a great set can look terrible if its lit badly. Goodness. Edited September 25, 2023 by mouseboy33 5 1

Cold washed out lighting looks horrendus on HD screens. 1 2
ActionNewsAficianado 3 Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The best set in the station group. And it's not particularly close, in my opinion. 2
