  1. Past hour
  2. Just going to flag that this shouldn't be a list. Airport newsstands and what WDIV is doing are very different ventures.
  3. I'm guessing since a majority of the airport stores are NBC affiliates they're connected to CNBC deal with Paradies Lagardère. WRAL confirms that's who operates the store using their brand. https://capitolbroadcasting.com/2018/06/13/wral-opens-new-travel-store-at-rdu/
  4. Today
  5. https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/cbs-files-new-response-to-dismiss-president-trumps-lawsuit/
  6. Sister KPNX in Phoenix has a store at Sky Harbor Airport, although the airport website erroneously labeled the shop as "CNBC 12 News". https://www.skyharbor.com/at-the-airport/shops/cnbc-12-news-680/
  7. This is common enough that I'm sure it's just a licensing deal.
  8. Looking forward to a better looking newsplex when they move
  9. WXIA had (has?? Not sure if still there) the same thing at Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta…it was funny that they continued to use the 90s era 11Alive logo and never updated the signage to the current red logo
  10. Yesterday
  11. Neither Dick nor Jessica mentioned they were filling in for Kristine.
  12. Network 10 in Australia recieved a brand refresh coinciding with the debut of 10 News+. 10 Bold Drama changed to 10 Drama, 10 Peach Comedy changed to 10 Comedy, and the Network 10 logo no longer has a circle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0R2DEGX2eM&t=105s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okD6JRi5U4s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqP2XJIUcI4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBGcMTXFrYM
  13. WJZ's building on TV Hill in Baltimore suffered an electrical fire this afternoon. The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived at the station. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/baltimore/news/maryland-baltimore-fire-wjz-building-newsroom/
  14. CNBC has shops in multiple airports, though they're also just news/convenience stores with branding. I remember seeing one in Charlotte back in 2007.
  15. Scott Padget debuted today at 5pm. Probably reading too much into it, but when I saw at 5:45 they did not say he was "in for Lonnie". Should be interesting to see if/how this shifts their weather lineup
  16. Same with KUSI…. https://www.san.org/Shop-Dine-Relax/Detail?Id=54
  17. New show alert featuring Ari - Mon-Thurs 9pm
  18. Never in my life have I seen a tv station open a coffee shop wonder what ever stations do this besides the ones seen here
  19. I was surprised that Freeform was dropped 2 years ago in my opinion from Spectrum Disney XD & Disney JR. should've remained dropped in my opinion.
  20. And as this comes into play. Let us reflect on all the NBC 5 sets of the NBC Tower in the last 35 years!
  21. WFLA has a store in Tampa's airport just branding no merch just to get snacks, drinks, books, & mags. Maybe be a few that like WDIV will show up for the morning show and the lifestyle program and get a cup of coffee I don't know if this will work thou.
  22. Nothing will happen Biden said the F-bomb when Obamacare was passed. I say let the F-Bomb fly it isn't that big a deal in my opinion, and I don't get why lots still get offended by the F-Bomb in this day and age broadcaster should be allowed to have the F-Bomb fly in primetime maybe for 10PM to 6AM that is safe harbor but seems that the broadcasters don't use it for some reason.
  23. Looking pretty good. I’m sure they will be happy to have some breathing room given their current situation. My guess is a November reveal [in time for sweeps].
  24. From the Broadcast Plaza server, here's the first peak at the new NBC-Telemundo Newsroom. The new set is slated for later this year, and I'd imagine this follows a similar timeline.
  25. Per Sandra Torres instagram, she is leaving WMAQ and the industry entirely.
  26. WFAA's 7-9 morning newscast on WFAA+ launched this morning. It doesn't appear to be on KFAA at this time, but that may change. For a station like WWL, it would almost be like a second coming of the newscast CBS took away from them to put on WUPL. Too bad the damage has already been done there as WVUE rules the market.
  27. 50 States in 50 Weeks: America the Beautiful GMA is launching a year-long weekly series where a main anchor or meteorologist will visit one of all 50 States in celebration of the United States' Semiquicentennial and its own fiftieth anniversary. Starts July 3rd in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and ends next July. https://deadline.com/2025/06/good-morning-america-yearlong-series-50-states-in-50-weeks-1236444863/
