Ryanthenewsgeek 31 Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 It's been 6 years?! Sure doesn't feel like it. I must've really liked it. Aww. I really liked that set. I thought it was one of the best in the group. I'm surprised they're getting rid of it already. Well, it has been 6 years since it debuted!
IceManNYR 240 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I've noticed the area they use for cooking and product demo segments is still being used. Either the segments were pre-taped and the anchors are in the same clothing to match that segment or that area of the studio has not been taken down yet. Have they actually moved out of the studio during the remodel? 1

Have they actually moved out of the studio during the remodel? According to this tweet, the set has been taken down. Maybe they moved parts of it into an empty studio for the time being? NYNewsCoverage 308 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Hmmm that is interesting. Was gonna say maybe a greenscreen but it doesn't look like it. It must be another area somewhere.
Amra 171 Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I'm old enough to remember when JetBlue a/k/a PropBlue switched from black and white to color... Just wait until we start redoing the A320 interiors to the A321 standards starting in September. Sorry for deviating the topic lol 1
IceManNYR 240 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 This Tweet from Dana shows they moved parts of the old studio 46 into studio 55.

kshow 167 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I love the stage manager "credit" she gave. Where's Studio 55 though? I thought WLNY used WCBS's studio. 1
JR! 0 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Where is Emily Smith? I did not see a goodbye but not on website anymore? 2
JR! 0 Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Brian Conybeare added to WCBS website as a reporter. 3
nynewslover 279 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Are there any updates on the sets progress or when it will debut? 5
24994J 5625 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 If I recall, some CBS stations (maybe even WCBS) debuted the 2013 graphics right around the Emmy Awards. CBS has the show again this year, so I wouldn't be surprised if the set shows up then.
DMA 135 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Are there any updates on the sets progress or when it will debut? Rehearsals began last week apparently, there are some unremarkable progress pics in the set thread.
nynewslover 279 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I'm friends with Brian Conybeare on Facebook.. this morning he posted a pic of the crew this morning. It was with himself, John Elliot, Elise Finch and Alex Denis. Question: did Elise Finch anchor? If so, that's pretty cool.. anyone know how she Did?

Just went on their YouTube and yes she did anchor this morning. I swear I was in the area once and she had did it before, and she wasn't bad.
TellyGenic 33 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Emily Smith is on her honeymoon with actor Steve Guttenberg. 3
Roadgeek Adam 170 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 To quote the Nostalgia critic, "the first human representation of blandness, Steve Guttenberg." That should be an interesting honeymoon. 2
nynewslover 279 Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 What are the chances the set debuts this week?
JoseRM303 171 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Brian Conybeare is leaving WCBS and joining WBND in his homestate of Indiana where he will CO-anchor the weeknight 5, 5:30, 6 & 11 pm newscasts. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/cbs-new-york-reporter-heads-to-south-bend/196985
IceManNYR 240 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I still find it odd that WCBS the only local station that does not do morning traffic reports on holidays.
nydem2015 52 Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I noticed towards the end of CBS 2 news at 5 Maurice was going solo. Any idea what may have happened to Kristine?
justin2kx 240 Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I noticed towards the end of CBS 2 news at 5 Maurice was going solo. Any idea what may have happened to Kristine? Kristine was live on location in Wyckoff, NJ as that town prepares to go into storm recovery.
