That was before Nightline and Kimmel switched slots, so it wouldn't be as convenient this time around, and I think some in the station group only did it in 2012, anyway. They posted about it on Facebook. When they came back on, Rick Williams mentioned the cause was due to a computer malfunction. There was a tour of the station by their chief engineer on you who said that when they' were building the new facility they didn't feel the need to install costly switcher panels as everything was done by the Grass Valley automation system.
