bhratbrat 437 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I don't know but the set looks like a smaller version. The CBS set is a Jack Morton job and probably has exclusivity in the US and Canada. I doubt they do work in the Caucasus region so it's a pretty good rip off. But let's be real would CBS spend the time and money suing a small station for ripping off their look? The quick answer is no. They wouldn't have any jurisdiction in that side of the world. 1
Eat News 4745 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 It looks really good; but everything is scarily down to the letter though. Even the graphics and temp bug... It looks good because they were provided a complete set of plans. Who sold them the plans? Russians? They didn't just copy it from some screen grabs and a trip to Home Depot. The "News Set Cartel" of the eastern bloc is alive. 5
wnbc2016 23 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Any thoughts on who might take over for Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning?
Eat News 4745 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Any thoughts on who might take over for Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning? How about Billy Bush? He should be all rehabilitated by now, and ready to start clawing his way back up to the top. "This is CBS...the Forgiveness Network." 2
fox2 191 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Any thoughts on who might take over for Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning? OK this is from waaayyyy out of left field - or "right field", I should say - but how about Steve Doocy? I am half joking, and half serious.
wabceyewitness 825 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 This would never happen — but if they could poach Charlie Gibson out of retirement as a temporary anchor, he’d be a great fit. Another good move would to just have Norah O’Donnel and Gayle King anchor together until they’re ready to welcome a new person to their desk.
mooneyhill1 11 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I like someone can replace the fired Charlie Rose to sit with Norah and Gayle...will be: Don Dahler, Billy Bush, Lee Cowan or Jim Axelrod, will be a very good thing in the future on a weekday morning basic.
Thor 43 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 IMO CBSTM should just go with Gayle and Norah. Add a third anchor at a later if you still feel one is needed. It would also make a statement to not replace Charlie with another male, I would go as far to say that IF they do go for a third anchor it should be another woman.
Georgie56 3318 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Any thoughts on who might take over for Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning? How about bringing back Bryant Gumbel? 1

It would also make a statement to not replace Charlie with another male, I would go as far to say that IF they do go for a third anchor it should be another woman. It would be a very bold move. The timing could actually be perfect for an all female anchor team on CBSTM... There is NO reason why it cannot be tried out starting in 3...2....1. 1
wnbc2016 23 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Maybe Katie Couric can join the team. 1
abric 181 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Vladimir Duthiers is joining Norah and Gayle this week.
Robin Red 104 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 There have been reports that CBS wants to get Oprah on CBS This Morning. They should poach someone like TJ Holmes or get if they want another female, Soledad O Brien or Ann Curry would be the ultimate redemption story.

Daybreak 289 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Soledad O'Brien needs a redemption story? She does but she’s a bit politicized now. 1
mre29 1552 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 She does but she’s a bit politicized now. Do tell.
FiveNews 378 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Do tell. Look at her Instagram. She is savage!
Eat News 4745 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Look at her Instagram. She is savage! She can be decontaminated and reprogrammed...a little botox....waaalaaa! 5
rkolsen 1685 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 So WFOR morning Anchor Eugene Ramirez was in New York and visited the CBS This Morning set and did the daily cross talk with his station. Gayle apparently said to him, per an Instagram story, “Eugene I always thought you were black!” 1

Glimmer 283 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Dickerson is one of the better in-house choices, but I don't get why they don't just continue with King and O'Donnell as a duo. 4
Georgie56 3318 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Dickerson is solid. Should be a good fit.
jrh1985 57 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Dickerson is one of the better in-house choices, but I don't get why they don't just continue with King and O'Donnell as a duo. Especially when TODAY just went with Hoda and Savannah
