Poor Bob Frier still remains jobless given that it seemed he was looking for one last summer, though at this point he seems to be enjoying his time off.

The John Brown (re)hire also comes amid their hiring of WNBC's Ray Villeda as a new anchor, who just debuted last week.

So after the slew of departures that we harped on a few weeks back, we can definitely say Fox isn't throwing this station to the wayside just yet.

Former WJZY sportscaster Josh Sims has found work.

Congratulations Josh! They are lucky to have you!

I thought he might end up replacing Ken Rodriguez at WAGA but this is even better.

Our favorite San Francisco blogger says the KRON news director is out.

I’m not surprised with the “conflict of interest,” of him being in a relationship with an anchor.

also Chris Nguyen mentioned on Twitter he is leaving KGO after 7 years. Friday is his last day. Not sure where he is headed next since he didn’t mention or specify.

Well, that's the cringiest thing I'll see all day.

Is it the fact that she has so many hashtags in her tweet, or is it the way the video starts that's troubling you (w/her putting her makeup box down)?

She must think she's an actress, but she's not, and it shows.

The only thing that matters is that most of her followers (LA or Houston, no matter; the ego needs to feed too, right?) eat it right up and Houston's media game is particularly social media focused (or dare I say, obsessed). So as cheesy as it may have been, no one's hurting. Happy that she found a place to settle at home, regardless.

FTVLive reports that Christin Severance and Dan Haggerty are leaving KGW for WRAL.  Dan will be an anchor.  Wonder if David Crabtree is retiring (for real this time?) and Dan will be his replacement.

Christin will join WRAL Investigates and the documentary unit.

Whoa… did not see this coming…

KOAA cuts Elizabeth Watts in favor of KKTV’s former anchor Dianne Derby.

Derby left KKTV suddenly last year when her co-anchor Don Ward died unexpectedly.

Then she pursued “other opportunities”
