MidwestTV 1239 Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Side note, but I like how they stylized the '7' in 75.
TVNewsLA2000 13 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 KTLA will probably debut the new set at the end of the month. Hopefully the set is unique and does not have the same layout as KTLA's past two sets.
SoCalLocal 7 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 The new set will debut sometime before Thanksgiving per Sam Rubin. Likely next week or two.
TVNewsLA2000 13 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 According to Sam Rubin's Entertainment report today, 11/10, he said the new set is approximately two weeks away and that it is now in "testing mode" with stand-ins. He shared a sneak peak of the set, and by the looks of it, it's a very tall set.
TexasTVNews 1378 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I can predict it'll be the same news set as KDVR and WNCN.

SoCalLocal 7 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Rumor has it is going to be bigger that previous what I heard. I don’t know what’s the new set look like entirely.

Remember the last KRON set before they left 1001 Van Ness. That set had a ticker.
FiveNews 378 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Business reporter David Lazarus says it will debut on Wednesday
MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 947 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Do we know if a new graphics package is coming too??

TVNewsLA2000 13 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 KTLA debuted its new set today on the 3pm show. No new graphics and no more green screen.
susquvalleywgal 520 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Even tho KTLA is now owned by Nexstar ... they are too good of a station (legacy wise) to have a Nexstar corner set! Very nice set. Great job! -- Matt
Encore Emp 25 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 The new set is very beautiful and spacious! I’m glad KTLA is not following some other Nexstar stations and it’s in market #2 so expectations are high.
Bsean 152 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Also, all the auxiliary sets and news room still match this set!
sfomspphl 498 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Nice masthead above the main desk and use of the '5' branding on the video column, great 'LA neighborhood' shot. Warm woods. It's distinctive, instant classic kind of feel - nice job for a big market Nexstar
Action Newsroom 1299 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Looks incredible and breathtaking! Nexstar really came through for KTLA, as they deserve a set much higher-quality than those "desk-in-a-corner" sets they're known for.
Georgie56 3318 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Best set in the market running away.
nycnewsjunkie 1443 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 DAMN. Nexstar really pulled through for them. Bravo.
FiveNews 378 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Cool tour from the lobby, newsroom and studio entrance. Also, 5pm news team said the set was build locally which speaks to their LA"s Very Own Branding. https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClCjayfAYKk/?igshid=Zjc2ZTc4Nzk=
fan of la tv 47 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Couple of screenshots from my tv (excuse the quality) showing some different angles of the set. Seems that Sports Final has a different background graphic on the monitors.\\
