Action Newsroom 1300 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I always had that feeling that Dickerson had a rapport that showed he has the chops for morning TV. Just didn't notice openly until now. Good for him and the show. but I don't get why they don't just continue with King and O'Donnell as a duo. Especially when TODAY just went with Hoda and Savannah As great as Gayle and Norah were as a duo, I always feel CTM was, is and always has been successful with a 3-anchor team (two women and one guy), and I'm glad this continues with Dickerson's hiring.
MikePulse 319 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Officially official. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-dickerson-cbs-this-morning-new-co-host-announced-today/
TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Will this mean that Dickerson will do six days a week, including continuing to do Face The Nation or will he give that up to do CBS This Morning? 3

He will transition off Face the Nation I wondered if he would continue as Face the Nation moderator concurrently with his new duties; but since he isn't, that's great. Commuting between Washington and New York is a wench.
bixpchiphead 105 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 He will transistion off Face the Nation: http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/john-dickerson-has-been-named-charlie-roses-replacement-on-cbs-this-morning/354426 He prolly got some wisdom on the commute between NYC and Washington by the previous hose of Face, who did the commute to do the Evening News, Mr. Bob Schieffer. 3
cbs2worksforyou 44 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Ann Curry is going to be on CBS This Morning tomorrow--her first TV interview since 2015. 5
nydem2015 52 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I think that's telling about the terms Ann and NBC remain on that Ann is going to CBS and not NBC to tell her story. Ann Curry is going to be on CBS This Morning tomorrow--her first TV interview since 2015. 1
TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Ann Curry is going to be on CBS This Morning tomorrow--her first TV interview since 2015. This will be interesting. 1
newsanchor26 107 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Alex Wagner is out at CBS This Morning: Saturday, is leaving to focus on Showtime's The Circus but will remain a CBS News Correspondent for the time being 1

jbnews 345 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Maurice DuBois is in for Jeff Glor tonight. He is SO much better than Jeff. I would be more likely to watch CBS if he was bumped up from CBS2. 5
TVNewsJunkie15 66 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 What happened to CBS Ratings? 18 Months ago they had around 3.8 Million but now it down to 2.9 Million. they lost somewhere around 800,000-900,000 Viewers in a 18 Months period. Where have the Viewers gone? I sure Charlie Rose dismissal played a part in it.

wabceyewitness 827 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Bianna Golodryga joins CBS This Morning as the show’s fourth co-host. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bianna-golodryga-cbs-this-morning-co-host/ 2
MorningNews 1500 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 So... it’s The Early Show all over again? 1
J1975am 208 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 So... it’s The Early Show all over again? Um, I would hope not!! This means that there is another lady at the anchor table to give John Dickerson more trouble every morning LOL!! He is now FAR outnumbered (3 females [Gayle, Norah, & Bianna] and 1 male [John Dickerson]!! :D:D Fear not, CBS This Morning is 75 TIMES better than the Early Show ever was throughout its run, for many reasons (too many to list here)!!
JacobC 44 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 This reninds me of the four-anchor morning team of Harry, Hannah, Rene and Julie back then.
tvtime07 252 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Happy for Bianna, but I was already accustomed to the three anchor lineup. Very random development, but is CBS News telling us something? Is The Talk toast? A third hour of CBS This Morning in the works? A weather guy? Anderson Cooper coming aboard for morning chats?
Chopper4 36 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 A weatherman/woman would be great. I would watch more often. I like to get the big picture when it comes to the weather. Not just the local 10 second weather forecast.
MorningNews 1500 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I’m also curious how legit the 4th role will be. Like will they have a fill in when one of the 4 is gone or just revert to a 3 anchor lineup?
Glimmer 283 Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I’m also curious how legit the 4th role will be. Like will they have a fill in when one of the 4 is gone or just revert to a 3 anchor lineup? I’m assuming it’ll contract to a trio when one’s away; there has been talk of both Norah and Gayle contributing to 60 Minutes this season, so I wonder if Bianna is there to be a permanent part of the show without being delegated to simply fill-in. 1
Action Newsroom 1300 Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) This is an odd decision, but Bianna is a great anchor and great fit for the show (congrats to her), so I'm very interested in where this new lineup direction goes. Edited October 4, 2018 by Guest
24994J 5630 Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) If the bosses at CBS are as nervous and itchy over Jeff Glor as we're led to believe, they might be starting to move pieces in advance of moving Norah or John to Evening News. Edited October 4, 2018 by Guest 1
