I barely have any info on this but some sad news from Denver tonight Suzanne McCarroll a former reporter from KCNC has passed away.  No word on a cause of death. However she was diagnosed in 2008 with Non- Hodgkin Lymphoma. As for when she passed  I have no idea.

Here's a tweet from Jim Benemann.

CNN reports the death of investigative reporter Drew Griffin. Hell of a talent. I have linked the documentary "Breaking News" that aired on TLC in the late 90s/early 00s. It followed KCBS as it tried to bring itself out of the ratings basement. There is a segment with Drew as he works on an investigative piece dealing with shady doctors across the Southland.

Sad news out of Birmingham. If you grew up watching WBRC-TV in the mornings, you remember Country Boy Eddie. Gordon Edward Burns "Country Boy Eddie" passed away yesterday at the age of 92. Burns hosted "Country Boy Eddie and Friends" from 1957 to his final show on New Year's Eve 1993.

Don't know if this was reported already but Mark Traub the male voice heard laughing in the background on "Today" died last month. RIP, been hearing that voice for years and never thought to look up who it could be.
