  1. Wait what?! CityPulse is getting a news chopper? I never saw that coming. It truly is the "little station that could." (yes, CityPulse instead of CityNews because that's what Citytv was... covering The Pulse of Toronto, every night.)
  2. Compared to Canadians when you look at this, we Americans stunk at television.
  3. That's false apparently. I just checked LasVegasNOW.com and its still the same as those two other sites.
  4. This could've fit better on International Out and About.
  5. WTVT is up next to get him! But we'll see...
  6. I think that "bid" has been rejected by Gannett themselves.
  7. KCDO (K3 Sterling - Denver) has just started to repeat some of KMGH's newscasts, most notable the weekday 6:00 (at 9:00 a.m.), 11:00 a.m. (at 1:00 p.m.), one of the weekend morning hours (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Saturdays and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Sundays), weekend 5:00 p.m. (at 7:00 p.m.) and nightly 10:00 p.m. (at 11:00 p.m.).
  8. Woah!!! I see KCRA, KVBC, WPVI, KABC, Orange County Newschannel, KSBW, KCAL, KUSI, WPRI, KCOP, KOLD?, ESPN, ESPN2, XETV, KSBY, KFI, KTRH, KSDQ?, Univision, KMPH, KEYT, KPIX, KTBC, KNBC and a whole lot more! This would be a collection that I would love to have.
  9. Shaina, in my opinion, has become a rising star in this business, especially since becoming one at KCCI after launching their 9:00 p.m. news.
  10. From a group that no longer cares about news to a group that's has a very heavy-Republican view, welcome to D.C. Cheryl.
  11. I so agree! Citytv was really ON all the time with their CityPulse Newsflashes.
  12. Also, the weekend setup is still the same.
  13. If the DOJ approved Gray getting KGWC, it would have done the following... Add local news to the CBS stream Add that CBS channel to CBS All Access and several OTT platforms Replace Rapid City, S.D., signals in Sheridan and Gillette, Wyo. (mainly KCLO), with local Wyoming signals Donat the CBS station’s FCC license to the local PBS affiliate (Wyoming PBS) to put CBS on a low-power station. Instead, the DOJ rejected it so starting April 9th, KCWY and KGWN's news operations are merging to form "Wyoming News NOW" and all newscasts (including the market-focused ones) will be based in Cheyenne. In other words, Gray is bringing the pink slip train to Casper. Both KCWY (Casper) and KGWN (Cheyenne) will simulcast morning news from 5:30-7:00 a.m., weekday half-hour at noon and nightly half-hour 10:00 p.m. The difference is early-evening where KCWY will have one at 5:00 and KGWN will continue theirs at 5:30 p.m. That will also be on weekends as well. KCWY's 6:00 p.m. news will say bye-bye in favor of Jeopardy!, creating a WOF-J! power hour from 6:00-7:00 p.m., the same thing that KGWN is doing. https://tvnewscheck.com/article/top-news/229026/gray-blames-feds-local-news-cuts-casper/
  14. Wait a minute... WWL has "momentum" from 7-9 a.m.? Don't they mean WVUE? As far as I'm aware, WVUE has that "momentum," not WWL.
  15. I think you need to update all the Boston videos. T.L. Hughes has them from 4 years ago and, of course, updates have been delivered to each since then.
  16. Marrrrrvin Zindler..... Eyeeeeeewitness News!
  17. Instead, WVUE is king from 7-9 a.m. now and don't be surprised that WVUE, just having added a 9 a.m. hour of its morning news last year, beats WWL with this crappy interview/lifestyle talk show.
  18. I know. I don't like complimenting Sinclair in any way whatsoever, but for once, they did something good here.
  19. Bravo to Bob. That's all I can say. I really enjoyed him on NBC because its the only thing I associated him with for a very long time, pretty much all my life. Bob and NBC. Its hard to find a legendary compatible relationship like this one though there are plenty (Barbara and ABC, Bob and CBS, Tom still at NBC, etc. You know these names too so don't act like you don't know them! Lmao.) In the words of Frank Sinatra, he did it his way.
  20. First off, Natalie Pasquarella! Second, it looks like a video news briefing. Also, WNBC already does an audio news briefing every morning called "Listen Up."
  21. I think its "Evolution," the package that debuted at WFTS that ended up not lasting long there. According to NMSA, its also the same package used by their sister stations WMNN-LD and WXII-LP.
  22. Since KWTX is getting Telemundo from KXXV, I wonder what will happen to Telemundo on KRHD-CD, KXXV's satellite station in Bryan. Will KBTX acquire it?
  23. God bless her! She's like Betty White... both in their 90s, both legends and both are still going!
