  1. Glad to see as well that NewsNation filling up the weekends with news outside 7PM to 10PM lineup.
  2. True Crime News sounds like Crime Watch Daily, I did like the format for season 1 of Crime Watch Daily with Matt Doran I don't get why they dropped him for Chris for the last 2 seasons of Crime Watch Daily. Kinda sounds like it is more a test run for fall 2024 maybe more TV station groups will sign on for True Crime Daily. I think what hurt Crime Watch Daily being canceled was a failed merger between Sinclair & Tribune in spring of 2017 as Tribune was the station group that signed up for the show in for the 2015 syndication season. I apologize if this isn't a thread I should have posted this.
  3. I thought that Dish & Mission was dark since the fall of 2022 or was that DirecTV which is still dark. I think that has to do with the lawsuit once that gets settled maybe a deal gets done. I'm surprised that Dish didn't take Mission to court like DirecTV is doing.
  4. Also looks like ARC doesn't do Sat newscast at 10PM anymore past 2 weeks been Full Measure.
  5. DBL is on 7:30PM when it debuted in fall of 2017 it isn't live I think it is the last place show in the 7:30PM timeslot in West Michigan on WZZM. Since the ratings aren't a meter market hard to tell what the ratings are but most are stuck in their ways of what there watching at 7:30PM, for me I'm watching/in the background Access Hollywood, Inside Edition & now TMZ which is aired 3 times in a day.
  6. Not surprised that Drew Barrymore & Jennifer Hudson shows were renewed. I'm surprised that Wood TV didn't want to air JHUD and put on MYNet TV & The new CW in West Michigan.
  7. Why I like the music award shows like The Grammy's where it's all about the music and hardly anything about politics like The Globs & Oscars plus I don't watch any of the movies or TV shows that are up for noms why I don't watch them that much.
  8. Not surprised that TEGNA & DirecTV reached a deal just in time for the NFL playoffs, kinda back in the day with LIN & Cablevision in the 90s Cablevision always got a deal just in time for the Super Bowl in 94, 96 & 98 although in 96 Cablevision found a loophole because Wood TV was returned within 2 weeks of it going dark. Took a whole year to get Wood TV back on Cablevision as all of 97 had to watch Wood TV on rabbit ears.
  9. I still like to watch live only use OnDemand to catch up only if I have another show at the same time, along with sports. Like I will watch Wild Cards & Family Law OnDemand on Fri or sometime over the weekend. Like I was surprised that On Patrol Live is still the number 1 TV show on Fri & Sat nights being on Reelz a smaller network than A&E when it was Live PD, I watch OP: Live late night on the weekends 12AM to 3AM.
  10. Wild Cards promos took off the in The CW even with The New CW in West Michigan the is out of the logo even know the voice over says you're watching The CW West Michigan. Not surprised by the new branding as they have been fazing it since early/mid Dec.
  11. I liked TheGrio News with Eboni K. Williams the problem is way too many repeats doesn't seem to air any new EP's of her news show I didn't watch Lomont Hill's show too liberal for my liking why I didn't ever watch it. Yeah, saw This TV listings on TV Guide Mag where there was movies in primetime on the listings no more and just weather channel shows as mentioned above.
  12. Too me multiyear deals are 3 or more years in my opinion not 2 years.
  13. I never watched Twist looking at the shows there wasn't much interested I was in plus Charter Spectrum or Comcast didn't put WZZM DT5 in the lineup which if I was WZZM I'd move the weather network to DT5 put True Crime Network to DT2/DT3 for Quest in my opinion.'
  14. I would think the government would say no to WBD buying Paramount and Comcast isn't a no go even if they have to sell either NBC or CBS but I could be wrong. I just don't see the government syringing onto these mergers in my opinion.
  15. Major changes coming Jan 1 in West Michigan, I'll say this could've done the afternoon in the fall why they waited until now I don't get it, for CW7/ARC WMI. I'm calling the new CW as CW6 as that is where Charter Spectrum put it. Sorry for the list I know it is frond pond around here. ARC WMI: Mathis Court moves to 11AM to 11:30AM was 2:30PM, Justice For The People 11:30AM to 12PM only getting a half hour only was a full hour at 3PM, Cutlers Court 12:30PM to 1PM was on at 2PM, The Jerry Springer Show repeats 2PM to 3PM, Steve Wilkos returns after 2 years 3PM to 4PM, 25 Words Or Less Gets a full hour 5Pm to 6PM, The National Desk 8PM to 8:30PM, Daytime Jeopardy 8:30PM to 9PM was on at 5PM, The Kelly Clarkson Show 9PM to 10PM, The Liquidator Sat 6PM to 7PM, Bob's Burger Sat 8PM to 9PM, The Equalizer Sat 9PM to 10PM, The Listener Sun 2PM to 3PM, Last Man Standing Sun 8PM to 9PM which was full hour Sun 5PM, Seal Team Sun 9PM to 10PM, Pure Outdoors Late Sun/Early Mon 12:30AM to 1AM. CW6: 6:30AM to 9AM is the fake Byron Allen Court Shows, Sherri 9AM to 10AM, The Jennifer Hudson Show 10AM to 11AM, Judge Mathis 11AM to 12PM, The People's Court 12PM to 1PM, Pawn Stars 2PM to 3PM never did get a full hour when it was 5 days a week from 2016-18 been weekend only since 2018 on WXSP, Funny You Should Ask 3PM to 3:30PM, Who The Bleep Is That 3:30PM to 4PM, Mom 4PM to 4:30PM, The King Of Queens 4:30PM to 5PM, Court Cam full hour 6PM to 7PM, Extra returns to access prime after a decade 7PM to 7:30PM, TMZ 7:30PM to 8PM 3X on the Nexstar sister stations, L&O SVU 10:30PM to 11:30PM, Chi Fire/PD 11:30PM to 1:30AM on the weekend on the Nexstar sister stations, Forensic Files 1:30AM to 2AM late Sun/early Mon on WXSP, The World Poker Tour 7 days a week 2AM to 3AM, Karamo 3AM to 4AM, TMZ Live M-F which Fri will air early Mon 4AM to 5AM 3X the Nexstar sister stations, Deadline To Disaster Sat 5PM to 6PM, Extra Weekend edition 6PM to 7PM, TMZ Weekend edition 7PM to 8PM, Court Cam Sat 10:30PM to 11PM, World Chase Tag Sat 11PM to 12AM, The First 48 late Sat/early Sun 12AM to 2AM, Highway Thru Hell Early Sun 3AM to 4AM, In Depth With Graham Bensinger Sun 10AM to 11AM, Game Time with Boomer Sun 11AM to 11:30AM, RaceWeek Sun 11:30AM to 12PM, First 48 Sun 2PM to 4PM, Storm Of Suspicion Sun 4PM to 5PM, Weather Gone Viral Sun 5PM to 6PM, SOS: How To Survive Sun 6PM to 7PM, Court Cam Sun 10:30PM to 11PM, Deadline To Disaster Sun 11PM to 12AM, Weird Earth Late Sun/Early Mon 12AM to 1AM, Highway Thru Hell Late Sun/Early Mon 1AM to 2AM, Entertainers Early Mon 3AM to 4AM.
  16. I see a lot of TV station groups dropping what was Dabal yeah, don't need another WB/UPN 90s early 2000s as that seems to be on a lot of networks that those sitcoms air on. Only one that I watched was One On One, never did get into Sister Sister only watched a handful of times when it was on ABC TGIF lineup.
  17. I didn't see that coming The Connor's repeats on The CW starting Jan 4TH better than repeats of Who's Line, Penn & Teller etc. I'll check what CW7 in West Michigan will be filling in 8PM to 10PM block M-F on Jan 1 when they are no longer CW7 as they are rebranding as ARC West Michigan.
  18. I saw promo about CW7 rebranding to ARC West Michigan on Jan 1 just major changes are coming CW7 becoming ARC on Jan 1 when watching CW7 late Sun/Early Mon. I think it is WXSP taking over The CW why would WOTV get rid of ABC I don't think WZZM can't be viewed OTA in Kazoo or BC in around that area I could be wrong on that. Why didn't The CW move on Sep 1 to the Nexstar TV station as I thought that when Sinclair renewed The CW that it also was for West Michigan?
  19. Did Brigit Mahoney leave the business? I know she left Fox Weather in the summer. I still think Steve On A Bender is a great title if he ever gets his own show on Fox Weather LOL.
  20. Glad to see The CW use different graphics than ESPN yeah, The CW didn't want to rush and just used the ESPN graphics for football year 2 will have different graphics for ACC football.
  21. All the major sports webpages have a page of WWE even ESPN under the sports news banner, CBS sports also has a page for WWE, I don't know if they have one for AEW thou. Doesn't surprise me that The CW will have NXT under the CW Sports banner which I'm sure Inside The NFL is under The CW Sports banner.
  22. Always was surprised that Nexstar hasn't ever put news on WXSP from 7AM to 9AM must not want to go against the cash cow of Today on sister station Wood TV, or maybe not much money to be made putting news on from 7AM to 9AM or scared going up against Fox17 morning news as there they only game in town once 7AM hits. WXMI has a slogan while the rest go to New York were live with local news at 7AM. Only a handful of times did Wood TV ever air news from 7AM to 9AM when there was a major winter storm when it was LIN & Media General Nexstar hasn't done it since they own the stations since 2017.
  23. Bill Fielder lost big time when he ran for US Senate in GA a few years ago in a primary. I didn't even know there was a Coastal in the TV business sounds like they just hub the news from another city with green screens.
  24. Good thing that AT&T/DirecTV got a deal done with Nexstar a couple of months ago it's no big loss losing TEGNA WZZM as you can watch ABC on WOTV in West Michigan at least.
  25. At least they did a JFK doc that wasn't about UFO's.
