Indeed. But, to be fair, Lily Broadcasting doesn't have impressive graphics to begin with. As you can see here. It looks like a mix between Hearst and Meredith. The opens have not been modified yet unlike KOTA (who also has the new logo). Just noticed now during the Celtics and Bucks game it’s a full white logo now. Proxima Nova will be the new font, and the colors are about right, but this promo is more transitional than a sign of things to come. The station logo is still the old one, as they're supposed to be adopting WABC's new model. These debuted at 4pm, and they align with all new graphic teases I've seen, from the colors, to the font, to even the little arrows that appear in a few spots. I don't know when, but there's no reason to believe that these graphics won't roll out to the whole group, but yes, it's just WLS, and just the weather package...for now. I’ll go as far as to say that the outgoing package looks better than some of the newer graphics packages being churned out by Gray and Nexstar. That said, the new Wx graphics look fantastic. If they are a harbinger for a group-wide package, that will be a welcome development, especially for WABC and other stations with aging/less than stellar graphics.
