If they are getting a new set it will probably debut with the new Hearst graphics. The news set they have now has been there since 2007 when the primary studio/newsroom/management offices moved to Rogers from Fort Smith and Fayetteville. 40/29 still has a facility in Fort Smith for KHBS.

Will stations still be using this music once they get the new graphics? Or are the new cuts we've been hearing a totally different update to Strive, no more original package?

KMBC changed its logo to red, and tweaked a few other things.

On NO. That logo has been blue since the dawn of time. WHY would they mess with it now? Not only that, but put it in a box? Seriously?

--What a weird call to put the 9 in a box.

Only reason I could think for them to do it is because a consultant told them to. How competitive is KC now ratings-wise?

EDIT: Wait--"Today's KMBC 9?" That SCREAMS "consultant."

Today's KMBC 9? To quote Pat Sajak from the 80s when he went Bankrupt on the Final Spin "Fire this man" or should I say fire whoever it was that came up with that idea
