Also, why is CBS distributing "America's Funniest Home Videos?" Or am I misunderstood and they're just going to be carrying it on their stations (I assume the independent sidecar stations) without actually distributing it?

ABC-Disney usually sticks to only Kelly & Mark and Tamron along with the 20th leftovers in syndication, so they probably figure CBS can get proper rates and advertisers better than they can since that's right in their wheelhouse so they don't have to worry about that.

WKMG (CBS Orlando) moved Drew Barrymore to 9 am for a new 3pm newscast. Entertainment Tonight and another show were previously on at 9 AM.

News 6 at 3 follows a nontraditional format like their 9 PM show. Shaky cameras, anchors walking and talking with the camera from the all over newsroom. Field reporter packages look like they're shot on high-quality cell phones and draw inspiration from Instagram reels.

The 3 PM show will again feature anchors Ginger Gadsden and Matt Austin who already anchor the news at 4, 6, 9 (online) and 11.

Stretching one anchor team thin is the norm in Orlando as Martha & Greg anchor nearly every WFTV/WRDQ evening newscast. John and Luanne do most of WOFL's evening newscasts. Only WESH has a wide bench of anchors.

ET and Inside Edition are still on at 7 and 7:30pm, respectively. Not only that, Ginger and Matt also do the traditional 10pm online. I mean, WTH WKMG? You know you got Lisa Bell, right? And she's only on at 5pm?

Don't get me wrong, Ginger and Matt have fantastic chemistry, but come on, they can't do them all. You gotta put Lisa Bell in there too in the mix, right?!

As of this month, I believe, Martha and Greg now do all WFTV/WRDQ evening newscasts from 4-6:30 and 10-11:35pm. You're right on WOFL, and it seems like WESH has the deepest of benches, which makes it work to mix in their newscasts, same with their morning crew.

Indeed. Plus, looks like Ginger does the 4 and Matt does the 5 (both?) with Lisa.

WKMG had two runs of ET daily. I'm not sure if the 9 AM run was the previous nights episode?

WFTV's Daralene Jones strangely only anchored their 4 PM, while morning anchor Kristen Delgado stayed through 12pm. I'm sure it's all about cost, as they had their morning co-anchor Alexa Lorenzo pulling double duty as the traffic anchor.

So what did they do on Mondays? Air the previous Friday's episode? Or a cut-down version of the weekend edition (which I'm pretty sure is an hour)?

Not surprised that Kelly is ending her talk show I said it was going to end in May of 2026. I'll beat the horse does WWMT put news on at 4PM or will they try and get Tamron Hall for that timeslot or maybe J-Hud I don't know their contracts other than that Nexstar has both talk shows on CW-WMI in the mornings. Tamron Hall has never been cleared on any of the main channels always been on The CW TV stations when Sinclair had CW.

Not like broadcast TV is going back to its heyday. Expect syndicated TV to have lower budgets from here on out.

I just saw the IG post from Entertainment Tonight about this. I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed because that's the only daytime talk show I actually watch. I wonder what the NBC O&Os will replace her with. 3pm news? Maybe there will be a replacement talk show, but I'd be kind of surprised.

Weren't Michaela Pereira and Ken Jeong supposed to get talk shows? What happened to those?

I'll wait for her to confirm the end, not whichever 30 Rock intern had their palm greased by Page SIx; ultimately Kelly and NBC will arrange something.

I don't know about Ken but Michaela, yes. She was supposed to get a new talk show, but its been pushed back so many times that its no longer happening.

She works for Sinclair now as an executive producer for a new series on America's 250th Birthday.

Wasn't Family Feud on one of the Sinclair TV stations in Bal now until Sep when it moves to Hearst. Glad to see that Kelly's talker will stay on for another year or 2 maybe a renewal is coming in the next month or 2, even know I said it be ending come May which I'll gladly eat crow on that and admit I was wrong when renewal comes.

Yep. WBFF had it and actually created a 90-minute game show block from 6:30-8pm with FeudWOF, and J!

Well…it’s now confirmed. The Kelly Clarkson Show is ending, for real.

That's sad. I enjoy it every time I watch. I've been to a few 30 Rock tapings (and a virtual one at Universal City during COVID) [& will go the last time later this month!] & had fun each time. I wish Kelly, her staff and her band Y'all all the best in the future.

Well this truly sucks. Kelly and Sherri had great talk shows! I was skeptical of Sherri taking over Wendy Williams' slot, but she proved to be an energetic and positive successor.

I'm shocked by that one. Kelly Clarkson didn't feel like she wanted to continue, so I get that, but Sherri is the shocker because it sounded like she was having a very good time hosting and doing the program.

Good vibes don't pay the bills.
