If this is true, pretty much KSAZ (FOX Phoenix) daytime sydnicated programming has been gutted out with Sherri, Kelly Clarkson, & Jennifer Hudson out. nathannah 2792 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 This isn't really syndicated in the traditional sense, but Gray's new Aging Untold series for 50+ers starts on Monday on their stations, and its weekday carriage will cause a domino effect of stations removing programming (or cut into an existing Local News Live hour) to carry it. JacobFL 5 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 This is a setback for Access Hollywood viewers. The show takes us back to the Pat O’Brien and Nancy O’Dell hosting era and it’s a huge loss for syndicated television and episodes will continue through September. 2

And they need to figure out what's gonna replace Access Daily and Clarkson, too. Access Hollywood ending is a total stunner. It's like syndication finally flatlined this year. Definitely not a good sign for syndication (though it's not like it's been thriving up until this very moment). Has Tamron been renewed yet? Other than her, this only leaves Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Hudson, and Live with Kelly and Mark for next year. Also, WRC doesn't need to do anything early evenings since they still have an hour-long 6pm newscast plus an existing 7:30 newscast. 2

The Deadline article mentioned NBCU is the first to rip the band aid off, but won't be the last.

Please. We already have those and other cop shows on Ion and as part of NotMy. We don't need even more repeats of them.

We'll probably won't know the plans until late summer. Yikes. NBC's midday lineup has been weak for years, now Access Daily (and Hollywood) are done. Especially since Passions was cancelled NBC's 2pm hour has been a revolving door. You know it's bad when Dateline reruns -- something you would expect from a My Network TV or CW -- is airing on NBC stations in the daytime, especially in O&Os like New York. What are some stations going to do at 7:30 PM et/pt? What's left? do a second run or re-broadcast of their lifestyle shows at 7:30? Expand O&O 7 PM newscasts to a full hour?
