Lower thirds aren't bad, glad they (at least seen to, idk since this was simply for Carter's funeral) got rid of that breaking news bug. Will have to see the animation to make my final opinion on the intro.

I know on occasion they use different graphics for these special events. We’ll see if it changes back to the old graphics on upcoming special reports.

The special reports from this morning were using the old lower 3rd again, but with bolder text. Another special report later in the morning went back to the new lower 3rd.

Wonder if they were using the old SR video intro/outro as well. Usually, if this happens, it's probably because of tech issues & having this as backup.
