A total class act, and I always hoped when CBS fumbled and NBC picked him up that he would take over Today, especially after the whole Matt Lauer scandal. Either way, a great career indeed. MorningNews 1293 Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Yeah I was surprised that he wasn’t strongly considered for CBS Sunday Morning after the final Early Show relaunch.
